William L. Shivers, Jr.

William Liddell Shivers, Jr., 69 of Hueytown, passed away November 1, 2021. He retired from US Steel where he worked as a Crane Operator. He was a former member of Wylam Presbyterian Church. He is preceded in death by his father, William L. Shivers, Sr. and his beloved Bear. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Donna Miles Shivers; mother, Elizabeth Dempsey Shivers; son, Brent Shivers (Stacey Reed); daughter, Cristy Shivers (Jamie Cook); grandsons, Ashton Cook and Emmerson Shivers; sister, Sharon Nickens; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; furry friend, Will; and many other relatives and friends. Graveside service will be Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at 11:00 in Patterson Forest Grove Memorial Gardens. Rev. John Killian officiating.
