William Duncan Sellers Ii

William Duncan Sellers, II; formerly of Pleasant Grove, AL, passed away August 7, 2024, at the age of 80. He was a lifelong learner, earning 5 degrees between 1966 and 1994 and worked most of his career as a teacher. He was a member of First Baptist Church Pleasant Grove. William moved to Tampa, FL last fall, to be close to family. He is preceded in death by his parents, William D. Sellers, and CD and Mildred Laird. He is survived by his wife, Betty Hamilton Sellers; son, Wesley Sellers (Donna); daughter, Cheryl Skinner (Jacob); brother, David Laird; grandchildren, Malea and Aubrey Skinner; and many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Saturday, August 17, 2024 from 10:00 until 11:00 AM at Patterson Forest Grove Funeral Home. Graveside service will begin at 11:00 AM in Patterson Forest Grove Memorial Gardens.
