William "Jake" Jacob Mcnair, Jr.

William "Jake" McNair, of Bessemer, passed away June 1, 2021 at the age of 33. He was a member of the Operator's Union Local 312 for seven years. He loved his family, union brothers, his job and loved to fish. He is preceded in death by his step-father, Elby Jones and furry friend, Champ. He is survived by his wife, Astin Courington McNair; parents, William McNair and Sherry Martin Jones; daughters, Briley Hood and Ava McNair; sister, Kimberly McNair; nieces and nephews, union brothers and many other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, June 12, 2021 at Local 312 Union Hall (1751 Hwy 150, Bessemer 35022).
