Walter "Len" Welch

Walter “Len” Welch, of Hueytown, passed on September 18, 2021, at the age of 73. He is preceded in death by his wife, Kay Hicks Welch; parents, Jack Lenvil and Mary Nell Welch Smith. He is survived by his sons, James Brian Welch (Brooke), Barry Lenvil Welch (Mindy) and Seth Adam Richardson (Mallory); grandchildren, Sarah Welch, Morgan Welch, Ethan Welch, Lila Welch, Reese Richardson, Carter Richardson and Sabastian Richardson; brother, Larry Welch (Deborah); and many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 22, 2021, from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Oak Grove First Baptist Church (9161 Camp Oliver Rd, 35023). Funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM with burial to follow in the adjoining cemetery.
