Virginia Penny, 86 of Birmingham, Alabama passed away July 15, 2022. She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald; daughter, Teresa Penny; sisters, Mary Ethridge, Evelyn Smith, Vera Wooten; brothers, Tommy Wooten, Charles Wooten. She is survived by her son, Richard Penny; daughter, Denise Sheppard; grandchildren, Joey Hamaker, Kevin Hamaker, Chris Sheppard, Brian Sheppard, April Britt; great grandchildren, Joe Joe Hamaker, Holly Hamaker, Bryant Hamaker, Griffin Sheppard, Kai Sheppard, Oliver Britt. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 20, 2022 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM with the funeral service beginning at 2:00 PM at Patterson-Forest Grove Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery Forest Grove Memorial Gardens. Bro. Jimmy Poe officiating.
