Virginia Casha Lorino

Virginia Casha Lorino of Hoover, Alabama passed away on September 29, 2023. She was 87 years old. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and aunt. She was a faithful member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Mrs. Lorino was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Bernard Lorino Sr, her parents Frank and Bena Casha, and her siblings: Joe Casha, Vincent Casha, Lena Casha, Pauline Springs, and Frances Gallo. She is survived by her sons Bernard (Pat) Lorino and Frankie (Diane) Lorino; her daughters Mary Gregg and Kim (Randy) Hallman; eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Lorino was an amazing cook and was happiest preparing great meals for her family. Visitation will be at Prince of Peace Catholic Church on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at 11:00 AM. Mass will follow at 12:00 PM. The family would like to thank Veronica Chamblee, Mrs. Lorino’s loving caregiver and friend, for her devotion and support.
