Thomas E. "Hunk" Henson, Dec. 27, 1948 ~ Aug. 9, 2016. Thomas "Hunk" Henson passed away on August 9, 2016 at the age of 67. Memorial services will be held at First Baptist Church, Sylvan Springs on Saturday, August 13 at 11:00 AM. Rev. James Horsley will be conducting the service. Mr. Henson was a Deacon at Sylvan Springs First Baptist Church and retired from the coal mines after 36 years. He was a wonderful husband, loving and supportive father and he loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is predeceased by his parents, Hailon and Willie Henson; brother, Bill Henson; sister, Margaret Henson; brother-in-laws, Poncho and Danny... Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Nancy-Gayle Paradis Henson; sons William J. Henson and Thomas H. Henson (Barbie; daughter, Susan E. Northcutt (John Milstead); grandchildren, Jordan (Anna), Grace (Joey), Hailon, Abby, Cortney (Chase), Katie and J.T.; great grandchildren, Blakelee Henson and Haven Scott; three sister-in-laws; 3 brother-in-laws with numerous nieces , nephews and cousins.
