Susan Vines Hawkins

Susan V. Hawkins, 68 of Gardendale, Alabama passed away on November 9, 2023. Susan graduated from Jemison High School in 1974. She was a dedicated employee of the Postal Service for 28 years. Susan was also a member of First Baptist Church Mount Olive. She loved football, summer sunshine and was always willing to volunteer to take her grandson and his friends to wrestling matches and any other activity they wanted to attend. Susan was the most loving, caring person to everyone she knew. She is preceded in death by her father, William Vines; mother, Lucille Vines; sister Patricia Roseberry. She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Mike Hawkins; son, Michael Hawkins II(Casey), grandson, Jack Hawkins; granddaughter, Evie Hawkins; sister, Cynthia Lee(Butch); brother, Anthony Vines(Rachel); brother-n-law Jerry Roseberry; as well as many loved nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Monday, November 13, 2023, 1:00PM-2:00PM with the funeral service beginning at 2:00PM at Patterson-Forest Grove Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery Forest Grove Memorial Gardens. Bro. Terry Lynn officiating
