Stella Jane Isbell

Stella Jane Isbell, of Hueytown, Alabama, passed away April 18, 2024, at the age of 71. She was the most selfless, humblest, devoted servant of the Lord Jesus, who died to self many years ago to live unto God. She had learned to live a content life through suffering, servitude and the supply of God. Never complained, never demanded more of life than she was willing to give. A friend to all and enemy to none. She loved her family more than herself. A defender of her faith and family. Jane served in the Gospel Ministry for 50 years, married for 52 years and faithfully stood by her husband. She is preceded by her parents, Vernon and Nora Clark; two sisters, Jeanie Junkin and Margaret Yancey; two brothers, Roy Clark and Paul Clark. She is survived by her husband, Michael L. Isbell; sons, Michael Brian Isbell (Kelly), Jeffery D. Isbell (Christy), and Timothy P. Isbell; 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; sisters, Linda Myers (Robert) and Betty Shirley; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held Monday, April 22, 2024 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM in the chapel of Patterson Forest Grove Funeral Home with funeral service starting a 2:00 PM. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.
