Robert E. Lyles

Robert Lyles, 83 of Maytown, Alabama, passed away on Friday, March 21, 2025 surrounded by his loving family. Robert was born on August 25, 1941 to the late Bishop John C. and Edna Lyles. Being the son of a preacher and always in Church, the Church family became Robert"s family. He was a member of The Church of God and Prophecy for over 65. Robert served his country in the Armed Forces for three years. He worked with Lance, Inc. and retired in 2005. Robert is survived by his faithful wife of 58 1/2 years, Pastor Judy Lyles, two sons-- Keith wife Christy, Kevin wife Katrina, three grandsons--Chad, Andrew and Aaron, all of whom he loved dearly and his loyal pet Subway, along with a host of other family and friends. The "Celebration of Life" will be at the Tarrant Church of God of Prophecy, 1200 Jackson Blvd, Tarrant City, AL, with Bishop Richard Ramsey officiating on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at 11:00 AM. Lunch will be served following the service. Urn Interment will be in Patterson-Forest Grove Memorial Gardens, 1498 5th Ave, Pleasant Grove, AL.
