Robert Nelson Baker

Robert Nelson Baker, 77 of Bessemer, passed July 26, 2024. He was a Vietnam Veteran and retired after 20 years as a Master Sergeant with the US Air Force. He is preceded in death by his parents, Clinton and Mary Baker and sister, Barbara A. Smith. He is survived by his wife, Karrol Templeton Baker; daughters, Wendie Shoemaker (Neal); daughter, Brenda Koster; seven grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 31, 2024 from 10:00 until 11:00 AM at Patterson Forest Grove Funeral Home. Funeral service will begin at 11:00 with burial in Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo, AL. Rev. Steve Pylant officiating.
