Reneé Headrick Thornton

Reneé Headrick Thornton, 62 of Hueytown, AL, passed on December 28, 2024. She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Beamon and Bobbie Jean Headrick and her beloved Max. Reneé was a longtime member of Midfield First United Methodist Church as well as Bethlehem United Methodist Church. She is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Larry D. Thornton; special daughters, Amy Griffin (Lellwyn) and Kimberly Kruse; grandchildren, Dalton and Nick Griffin, Zaylie and Makayla Kruse; sisters, JoAnn Crim (James), June Whiten (Mike) and Denise Haskins (James); furry friends, Jack and Marley; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Bethlehem United Methodist Church, American Heart Association (heart.org) or American Diabetes Association (diabetes.org). Celebration of Life will be Thursday, January 9, 2025 at 12:00 PM at Bethlehem United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the start of service.
