Rebecca Anne Harmon

Rebecca Anne Harmon, 86 of Adger/Oak Grove, AL, passed away June 3, 2024. Rebecca married David Hugh Harmon October 20, 1956. They were introduced by David’s cousin Carolyn and were married 56 years. She was a longtime member of United Christian Ministries Church. She loved working outside and cooking. Rebecca was the oldest of nine children. She is preceded in death by her parents, Luther Monroe and Dorothy Salter Harper; her husband David Hugh Harmon; brothers Richard, Porter, Ronald, and Sonny; and sister, Betty Higgins. She is survived by her sons, Val Harmon and Steve Harmon; daughter, Vicki (Kim) Calvert; brother, Mike Harper (Becky); sisters Joyce Ingram and Margie Lou (Jerry) Mims; sister-in-law Annetta Harper; grandchildren, Elizabeth Pervorse (Justin), Chelsea Ray (Nick), David (Lindsey), Philip, Coreana Richards (Austin), Rebecca, Brandon, and Shannon Lewis; great grandchildren, Henry and Winston Pervorse, Raleigh Richards, Wyatt Harmon and two new ones on the way; numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Saturday, June 8, 2024, from 10:00 until 11:00 AM at Patterson Forest Grove Funeral Home. Graveside service will begin at 12:00 PM in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Vance, AL.
