Raymond Earl Dawson, Sr., of Adger, passed away on March 14, 2021 at the age of 90. He retired from US Steel after 34 years of service. He is preceded in death by his son, Raymond E. Dawson, Jr. He is survived by his daughters, Ann LaRae Donehoo (Robert) and Jan RaNae Meadows (Alvin); grandchildren, Amy Waldrop (Jerry), Ashley Peebles (Michael), Robbie Donehoo (Laura), Kristi Wehlau (Nick) and Summer Meadows; great grandchildren, Layton, Meri Blake, Madison, Posie, Robbie V,Zachariah, Alethea, Jedidiah; sisters, Nell Seales and Betty Smith; and many other relatives and friends. No services are planned at this time.
