Peggy Louise Stano
June 25, 1935 — October 2, 2023
With broken hearts, we sadly announce the passing of Peggy Louise Stano, 88 of Bessemer, Alabama. She is Preceded in death by her parents, Frances and Louise Brawley and brothers William and Jerry Brawley. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Jacob Stano Jr., daughters Vickie Rainey (Lonnie), Karen Bailey (Terry) and Teresa Stano. Her grandchildren, Alan Rainey and Nicole Bailey and several nieces, nephews, and other family.
Peggy loved her family dearly. She was a wonderful wife and a wonderful mother to her children. She was faithful and always there for them unconditionally. Peggy was loved by everyone who she met, and she will be dearly missed.
Our comfort is knowing she is now with her Lord and spending eternity until we meet again.
Visitation will be Friday, October 6, 2023 from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM with the funeral service beginning at 2:00 PM at Patterson-Forest Grove Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery Forest Grove Memorial Gardens. Bro. Tony Wilmoth officiating.
