Patti (Patsy) Ann Fallin Reymond, of Birmingham Alabama, entered into the joys of her Lord on August 6, 2022, after a brief illness. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, Terry Lee Reymond; her parents, Ed and Fannie Lou Fallin of Enterprise; grandson, Charlie Reymond Barlow; brothers, Kenneth and Charles Fallin; sister-in-law, Alice Reymond.

Patti is survived by her adoring children Rodney (Shirley) of Palm Coast, Florida; Kim (David) Phillips of Greenville, South Carolina; Amy (Luke) Bragg of Belleville, Illinois; and Angela Barlow of Birmingham, Alabama. Patti was Mimi to Faith & Isaiah Reymond, Ross & Claire Phillips, James, Lucas & Logan Bragg, and Joshua & Sadie Barlow.

She is also survived by her sister, Betty (Paul) Dalrymple of Enterprise, Alabama; and brother-in-law Gary (Linda) Reymond of Minerva, Ohio.

Patti and Terry’s love story began in 1963 while he was stationed at Ft. Rucker, AL. They met at a 4th of July party and “Stars Fell On Alabama” that night. They were married July 19, 1964 and made their forever home in Birmingham.

Patti joined Glen Iris Baptist Church as a college student in 1961, serving the Lord through the church for over 60 years. She taught Sunday School beginning with elementary and junior age girls, and for many years taught the Gleaners Class for older women.

Terry and Patti were a well-beloved team as they ministered in the Bus Ministry for over 30 years sharing the love of Jesus and faithfully bringing people to church. Patti mentored many ladies in practical ways and always pointed them toward a deeper walk with the Lord by her example.

As a teacher at Glen Iris Baptist School, beginning in 1969 and for many years, her influence has been a lasting legacy to hundreds of students. She was a gifted teacher who dearly loved her students. She followed their lives’ journey with great interest and joy.

Patti Reymond exemplified a servant’s heart in every possible way that she could. She opened her home to countless people down through the years. Patti was a loving mother and Mimi who lived a life of devotion and lavish love to her Lord and tender and unconditional love to her children and grandchildren – always pointing them to her Savior. She fulfilled our Lord’s command in Mark 14:9 “She hath done what she could.” And also in Proverbs 31:25-31 –
25 “Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.
26 She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.
27 She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.
28 Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.
29 Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all.
30 Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised.
31 Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.
