Michael David Shirley, of Bessemer, passed away June 30, 2021 at the age of 48. He is preceded in death by his father, James Douglas Shirley and sister, Amy Gilbert. He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Kristina Mathews Shirley; mother, Sue Nalley; son, Jacob Mathews (Kayla Kent); daughters, Rebecca Shirley (Taylor Williams) and Destiny Nicholson (Matt); brother, Johnny Shirley (Tracy); and granddaughter, Allena Kent; and many other relatives and friends.
