Michael Hoyt Hicks, 71 of McCalla, passed away March 7, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, Emmett and Ruth Hicks and sister, Billie Bunn. He is survived by his son, Matthew M. Hicks (Katie); daughter, Wendy H. Aguillon (Agustin); stepchildren, Mike Byars and Candy Cagle; grandchildren, Madison Loomis (Nick); Tanner Hicks, Bronson Ramirez, Mia Ramirez and a Hicks on the way; step grandchildren, Myles Jada, Allison and Amanda; great grandchildren, Bella Marie, Asher and Olive; sister, Celia Welzyn; a host of nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 16, 2022 from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM at Patterson Forest Grove Funeral Home. Funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM in the chapel with burial in Good Hope Cemetery in Dora, Alabama (7508 River Rd 35062). Rev. Larry Turner officiating.
