Martha Jo Bean Barlow
September 25, 1937 — June 25, 2022
Martha Barlow, age 84 of Bessemer, Alabama went home to be with her Lord and Savior June 25, 2022 at 11 o'clock AM. She was a graduate from McAdory HIgh School class of 1955. She was married to Royce Barlow who preceded her in death.
Martha ran Greencraft Lawn Mower and Hardware for several years after her father passed away. Later she was a family service consultant for Forest Grove Memorial Gardens. Martha had a heart for helping families find closure during their time of sorrow and loss.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Harvey R. Barlow; father, Maurice Bean; mother, Thelma Bean; sisters, Maureen Macy and Linda Blass.
She is survived by her son, Wesley R. Barlow (Lori); daughter, Vanessa McCay (Andy); grandchildren, Tiffany McCay (Catie), Tyler McCay, Shelby Barlow (Josh), Trenton Barlow, Ethan Barlow, Isabella Barlow, Logan Beane, Connor Beane; great granddaughter, Anna Leigh Farley.
The family will welcome family and friends, Tuesday, June 28m 2022 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM with the funeral service beginning at 6:00 PM at Patterson-Forest Grove Funeral Home. Martha will be cremated and join her husband in their Mausoleum at Forest Grove Memorial Gardens, there will be no graveside service.
