Margaret Lauren "Mimi" Thomas
November 5, 1947 — February 18, 2025
Margaret Lauren Thomas, better know as "MiMi", age 77, of Birmingham passed away at UAB Palliative Care in Birmingham on February 18, 2025. Lauren was born November 5, 1947 to the late Howard and Gladys Horton Willingham. She is also predeceased by her husband, Charles "Sleepy" Thomas and her sister, Marie Jones.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Jeff Thomas and Charles Ray Thomas; her grandson, Tyler Thomas (Alyssa) and great grandchildren, Brooklynn Lucas and Stetson Thomas.
Lauren worked for many years for Jim Walter before working in medical billing. She thoroughly enjoyed going anywhere, anytime she could; especially shopping and thrift stores.
Celebration of Life Funeral Services will be held Saturday, February 22, 2025 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Patterson-Forest Grove Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Village Falls Cemetery in Mulga, Al. Bro. Wayne Ferguson officiating.
