Louise M. Rice

Louise M. Rice, 89, of Hueytown, Alabama, passed away on Sunday, May 13, 2018, at Town Village Vestavia Hills Independent Senior Living. Louise, daughter of the late Eva and John Tracy, was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, B. H. “Shine” Rice. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Rice Maples and son, Jerry W. Rice; granddaughters, Ashley Maples (Allyn) Thames, Kristy Rice Keenum, Lynlee Maples (Kyle) Hudlow and Mackenzie Rice; four great-granddaughters, Madison Keenum, Ella Thames, Gray Thames and Hill Hudlow; three great-grandsons, Baylor Hudlow, Allyn Thames IV and Leeland Hudlow; brother, John A. (Jane) Tracy, Jr.; and many nieces, nephews, and other extended family. She was devoted to her family and friends. Her family extends deep gratitude to the staff of Hope Hospice for their loving care and support. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at Patterson-Forest Grove Funeral Home, Friday, May 18, followed by funeral services at 10:30 AM.
