Leroy Connell

Leroy Connell was a native of Alabama his entire life.
He was a retired fireman of Pleasant Grove after many years of service. He was an avid Crimson Tide fan who never missed a game, even while in the hospital in ICU.
He was good father, grandfather and brother.

Survivors include his sister Evelyn Deason.
One son Richard Connell. Two daughters, Marie Leger and Diann Connell Venable.
Three stepchildren Connie, Tammy, Danny.
One niece, Peggy Helms.
Two nephews, Ken Deason and Jackie Combest.
Six grandchildren, Jensen Leger, Julia Connell, Amber Myers
Blaise Leger, Tristan Connell and Savannah Connell.
One great granddaughter Zia Leger.

Proceeded in death by his wife Annette Connell.
Parents, Clara Herald Connell and Leonard Richard Connell.
Sister, Peggy Combest. Grandson, Oleg Connell.
Stepson, Steve Harvison.

Visitation will be Tuesday, January 4, 2022 from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Patterson Forest Grove Funeral Home with service to start immediately following. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.
