Lawrence "Larry" E. Sullivan
April 12, 1940 — April 6, 2023
Lawrence "Larry" E. Sullivan 82, of Hueytown, Alabama passed away April 6, 2023. Larry was a man of few words at times, but loved big. He was a “fixer”. No matter the problem, whether it be fixing a vehicle, an appliance, or even a personal problem, he was there to help fix it.
Larry proudly served in the Air Force. He retired from IBM, where he worked for many years. Larry attended the University of Alabama. He was an avid Alabama football fan. For many years, even until last year’s season, one of his favorite past times would be taking his motor home to all of the Alabama football home games, where he would spend time with friends who he loved like family.
He is survived by his beautiful wife, Frances Faye Owens Sullivan. He is preceded in death by his parents, John & Louise Sullivan; three brothers, John L. Sullivan, Louis Sullivan, Bob Dill; two children; Jerry Owens & Lorraine Hulgan, and a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 11, 2023 from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM with the funeral service beginning at 12:00 PM at Rock Mountain Lakes Church of God, 6459 Rock Mountain Lake Rd, McCalla, Alabama 35111.
Larry will be missed greatly by all who knew him, but especially by those who loved him.
