Laurell Diann Owens, 63 of McCalla, Alabama passed away July 25, 2022. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Dorothy Helen Akins and her sister, Kathryn "Kathy" Janice Humphrey. She is survived by her daughters, Leslie Nicole Owens Jones, Shawnee Beth Owens; grandchildren, Kayla Jones, ,Hunter Jones, Briar Jones, Shiann Jones, Victoria Campbell; sister, Vonna-Jo Tadjiev, Jacqulyn "Jackie" Dobson; brother, Jack Melvin Akins and a host of nieces and nephews.
