Larry Eugene Perry
October 7, 1939 — August 15, 2023
On Tuesday, August 15, 2023, Larry Eugene Perry passed away peacefully at home at the age of 83. He was a loving husband, father, granddaddy, son, brother, and uncle.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Preston and Audrey Perry, his brother, Robert (Bobby) Perry and sister, Betty Pizzotti. He is survived by his wife of 62 years Margaret Perry, his daughters, Angela (Jay) Hamaker, Karen Perry, grandson, Matthew Hamaker, sisters, Gloria (Reggie) Caudill, Brenda Perry, brother, Don (Ginger) Perry and numerous nieces and nephews.
He worked 45 plus years in the trucking industry and retired from AAA Cooper Transportation.
The funeral will be Saturday, August 19 at 2:00 with visitation for family from 12:00-1:00 and 1:00-2:00 for friends. The service and burial will be at Patterson-Forest Grove Funeral Home and Cemetery.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Aveanna Home Health Care and Hospice for the care provided.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks a donation be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
