Kimberly Kirkpatrick Bailey

Kimberly Bailey, age 51, of Bessemer passed away November 2, 2024 at a Birmingham hospital. Kim was born in Birmingham on January 26, 1976 to the late Charles and Margaret Davidson Kirkpatrick. She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Kathy Brumberlow. Kimberly is survived by her husband, Joel Bailey; sons, Joey Bailey; step-son, Kyle Bailey; daughter, Amy Bailey; sister, Cheryl Freeman (Scott); Aunt, Mitzi Davidson; nieces and nephews; Brandy, Mandy, Brandon, Scotty and Bo; special friends, Leslie and Joy.

Kimberly founded Saving Paws Dog Rescue where she save dogs from euthanasia and would relocate them to the northern states for adoption. She was very passionate about her animals; she loved her horses and boarded horses for the public for a short period of time. Kim loved her family deeply and was proud of the fact that they were all so close knit with one another.

Mrs. Bailey and her family have chosen cremation and a Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at a later time.
