Joseph Wayne Hicks, 60, of Bessemer, passed away March 10, 2022. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jimmy and JoAnn Hicks. He is survived by his life partner, Frances L. Perdue; daughters, Stephanie J. Standifer and Valerie A. Navarre (Jeremy); grandchildren, Jayden, Sophie, Cale, Colby, Dilan, Karigan, Brooks, Sonny, Dani, Shelby and Taylor; 5 great grandchildren; sisters, Sandy Glaze (Randy) and Robin Harmon; brother, Steven Hicks (Sara); numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. Family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM and a Memorial service will begin at 12:00 PM Saturday, March 19, 2022 at Short Creek Church (7785 Alliance Short Creek Rd, Mulga, AL 35118).
