Johnnie Mae Wates Garmon, 87 of Bucksville-McCalla passed away April 25, 2021. She is preceded in death by her parents, Monce and Ollie Wates; son, Mark Garmon; sister-in-laws, Shirley Wates and Charlotte Wates. She is survived by her husband, Paschael Talmage Garmon; children, Sherry Garmon Crist, Kevin Dale Garmon (Valerie); grandchildren, Steven Darrell Garmon (Alex), Peyton Nicole Garmon; great grandson, Nathan Paschael Garmon; brothers, Coy Wates, Jerry Wates; sister-in-law, Faye Wates and a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM with the funeral beginning at 12:00 PM at First Baptist Church-Woodstock, 2473 Coldwater Rd, Woodstock, AL 35188. Burial will follow at Currie-Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Hoover, Alabama. Rev. Steven Hicks officiating.
