Johnnie Riley Davis, 81, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on February 1, 2022. Johnnie was born on November 14,1940 in Marvel, Alabama. She was a longtime resident of Pleasant Grove. She worked and retired from Bellsouth after many years of service. Johnnie lived her life to the fullest every day. She truly loved people and never met a stranger. She had a sweet spirit with a kind heart always ready to serve others. Her beautiful smile and laugh could light up any room. She was a true and loyal friend. She was a longtime member of Bethel Baptist Church and sang in the choir. She loved going on mission trips with the church to World Changers and Nicaragua. Traveling was a true passion, and she had the opportunity to visit 49 of the United States, except for Minnesota. She traveled abroad to France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Ireland, Spain, and London. The beach was one of her favorite spots to spend her time and put her toes in the sand. She loved bird watching and drinking her coffee every morning. She was a loyal Alabama fan and a Dodgers fan. She loved country music and dancing. She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed baking. She filled our family with love and joy and her legacy will always be remembered. She is preceded in death by her mother Mary Kate Riley and father Harris Leon Riley, brother Harris Riley and her eldest son Ken Davis. She is survived by her sons Marc Davis of Pleasant Grove, Mike (Amy) Davis of McCalla, and Joe (Lindsey) Davis of McCalla. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Kayla and Alex Davis, Brittany (Brandon) McCombs, Amanda Davis, Matthew Taft, Luke Davis and Avery Kate Davis and her great grandchild, Jackson McCombs. She is also survived by her sister Tommie Raney, Don (Nancy) Riley, and Randy (Jennie) Riley. Visitation will be Saturday, February 5, 2022, from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Bethel Baptist Church (635 9th Way, Pleasant Grove). Burial will be in Patterson Forest Grove Memorial Gardens. Rev.
