John Ansberry Douglas, age 74, of Bessemer passed away October 24, 2024 at UAB Medical West. John was born in Alaska on September 15, 1950 to the late Delbert and Dorothy Miller Douglas. John served his country in the US Navy before working for and retiring from the United States Postal Service.
Mr. Douglas was predeceased by his parents, his sons, Dylan and Corey Douglas and his brother James Riley Douglas. Surviving Mr. Douglas is his nephew, Jason Douglas (Kristina) and great nephew Tristen Douglas.
