Joe Douglas Tolbert

Joe Douglas "Deacon" Tolbert passed away on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at the age of 78, He is preceded in death by his wife of 58 years; Wyvonnie Freeman Tolbert. His parents Raymond E. Tolbert and Lucile Creel Tolbert. One brother; Joel Tolbert. Survivors include; Keith Tolbert (Kim) and Mark Tolbert. One daughter; Jodi Byrd (Daniel). Grandchildren; Brad Tolbert (Crystal), Brett Tolbert (Danyelle), Kevin Tolbert (Terri), Ashlyn Grimes (Trey), Allie Miller, Zack Byrd, Haley Tolbert, Tori Byrd, Karrie Tolbert and Jackson Tolbert. Great grandchildren; Kaden, Harper, Hannah Kate and Ellie Tolbert. Also, coming in September, 2018; Jordyn Laine Grimes. The list just keeps going with family, friends and co-workers. He will be dearly missed. Services will be on Saturday, May 5, 2018 with the visitation beginning at 10:00 AM and leading into the service at 11:00AM. Bro. Ed Bearden officiating. Entombment will be held at a later date and will be a private family service. The family has requested that if you are going to be so nice as to send flowers, please only send potted plants so they can keep them living in honor of their loved one.
