Joanna Foster, 89 of Vestavia, Alabama passed away June 23, 2023. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Foster; father; Ralph Layman; mother, Josephine Layman. She is survived by her daughter, Julie Sutton(Paul); sisters, Sharon Schroeder(Harvey), Rose DeCou, Marian Beckman; brother Tom Layman(Maryanne); grandson, David Sutton(Molly); great grandchildren, Abi Sutton and Josaiah Sutton. Visitation will be Thursday, June 29, 2023 1:00PM-2:00PM with the funeral service beginning at 2:00PM at Patterson-Forest Grove Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery Forest Grove Memorial Gardens.
