Joann Mosley of Hueytown passed away February 25, 2025 at Brookwood Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Joann was born October 17, 1956 in Selma, Alabama to the late Winston Alfred and Willie Mae Goodman Smith. She is also predeceased by her daughter, Misty Michelle Mosley; granddaughter, Emeri Alaya Brown and brother, Danny Ray Smith.
Joann is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Billy Mosley; daughters, Kaylee Kristen House (Tim), Skyler McKenzie Baughn (Justin); son, Hunter Brian Keith (Brittany); granddaughter, Alaya Rain Brown; great grandchildren, Evelyn Gray Keith and Hudson Brian Keith; nephew, Joshua Smith and chosen sister, Renee Sims.
Joann was very crafty and enjoyed making all types of crafts, she enjoyed cooking and Loved Shopping. Decorating for the holidays was a special joy for her especially during the Christmas season. She adored her collection of Christmas Gingerbread villages.
Funeral services will be held Friday, February 28, 2025 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Patterson-Forest Grove Funeral Home with burial to follow in Forest Grove Memorial Gardens; Bro. JJ Stanbridge officiating. Mrs. Mosley will lie in state at Patterson-Forest Grove Funeral Home on Thursday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
