Jimmy Lee Taylor, Sr., of Bessemer, passed away April 5, 2021 at the age of 79. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jesse, Sr. and Ella Mae Taylor; son, Jimmy L. Taylor, Jr.; grandson, Derrick Johnson. He is survived by his sons, Marcus Taylor, Barry Hall, Anthony Taylor, Corey Hall, Jeremy Taylor and Jarvis Wood; daughters, Leyshun Bandy, Sarita Hall Johnson, Tina Taylor and Ashley Taylor; brother, Jesse Taylor, Jr.; 21 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren; caregiver, Willine Jemison; and many other relatives and friends. Memorial service will be Saturday, April 10, 2021 at 12:00 PM at Patterson Forest Grove Funeral Home. Social distancing and masks are required.
