Jimmy Wayne Jones, 83 of Adger, Alabama passed away April 21, 2021. He was a long time member and deacon at Dogwood Grove Baptist Church in Adger, Alabama. He is preceded in death by his parents, Floyd Thurman and Susie Viola Jones; daughter, Cynthia Arnold; grandchildren, Jackie Newsome Norris, grandson in law, Scott Norris; great grandchildren, JT Newsome, John Michael Newsome, Katie Hardin. He is survived by his wife of 64 years Carolyn Vance Jones; children, Beth (Steve), Randy (Amanda), Pat (Lauri), Suzi (Van), Jen (Mark); 29 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; 1 great great grand; siblings, Linda (Paul), Billie (Billy Joe), Kenneth (Sandy), David (Bobbi) and Sandra; sister-in-law, Teresa (Robert). Visitation will be Saturday, April 24, 2021 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM at Dogwood Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 8736 Dogwood Grove Rd, Adger, Alabama 35006 with the funeral beginning at 2:00 PM. Burial Will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
