Jennifer Lois Boartfield Bailey Cash

Jennifer Lois Boartfield Bailey Cash, age 68, passed away August 10 after a short battle with cancer. Lois was born August 21, 1952 to Raymond and Ophelia Boartfield, the 6th of 7 children. She grew up in Fairfield Highlands (now Midfield), graduated from Hueytown High School and retired from UAB Health Services Foundation. Lois was a former member of Fairfield Highlands Presbyterian Church and a member of Bethel Baptist Church in McCalla. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Alva (Junior) Bailey, brothers Ray and Charles Boartfield, sister Kaye Riley, and grandson Greg Day. She is survived by her husband, David Cash, son, Al Bailey (Tammy), grandsons Aaron and Justin Bailey (Anna), granddaughter Charity Corbell (Dustin) and great grandsons Declan Corbell and Kolby Day, sisters Betty Dollar (Sonny), Faye Wilkes (Jeff), brother Curtis (Bubba) Boartfield (Rachel) and sister-in-law Dottie Boartfield. Visitation is Friday, August 13, 2021 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM with the funeral service beginning at 1:00 PM at Patterson-Forest Grove Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Valhalla Cemetery.
