Jay Darryl Cooper, age 67, of Birmingham passed away on January 8, 2024.
He was an avid sports enthusiast and love Kentucky basketball.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his uncle, Ronnie Cooper (Bernice) and several cousins, David Retting (Phyllis), Jackie Retting, Sharon Callahan (Pat), Doris Cooper, Sue Retting and Rick Smith.
A memorial service will at 2:00 on February 3, 2024 at Huffman United Methodist Church with Pastor Angela Martin officiating. Gathering of friends from 1:00 PM until service. Celebration of life to follow the service.
