Janice Marie Burgess

Janice Marie Burgess, 71 of Pleasant Grove, passed away September 2, 2021. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She loved to take her grandchildren to the movies and bowling. She also loved watching Crimson Tide Football and playing bingo.
Janice was retired from Food World where she worked for 20+ years.
She was known for taking in any fur baby that needed a loving home. She is preceded in death by her father, Joseph Matthew Schober and her husband of over 29 years, Ronald Thomas Burgess. She is survived by her mother, Cecile Anna Schober; daughter, Rachel Shrader (Richard, Jr.); son, Ronald M. Burgess (Evangelia); grandchildren, Madeline Shrader, Trey Shrader, Ella Burgess, Rylan Burgess, Masyn Burgess and Kane Burgess; sisters, Diana Garcia (Frank); JoAnne Pope (Wayne) and brother Joseph Schober; a host of fur babies; nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 8, 2021 from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Patterson Forest Grove Funeral Home. Funeral service will begin at 12:00 PM with burial in the adjoining cemetery.
