James Parsons

James Parsons, 65 of Mulga, Alabama passed September 19, 2023. James was a tug boat pilot on the Warrior River for many many years. He is preceded in death by his partner of 30 plus years, Paula Brown; father, Bernice "Bill" Parsons; mother, Marlene Nowland; brother, Mike Parsons. He is survived by his sons, Jeff Parsons, David Parsons; sisters, Sarah Norris(Buddy), Michelle Alexander(Bubba); brother, Noah Parsons; grandson, Gavin Parsons and many other loving family members and friends that will miss him greatly. The family would like to say a special thank you to Affinity Hospice and to a brother-n-law Kenny Byars for all of your love, support and dedication during this time. A memorial service will be planned at a later date.
