James Charles "Charlie" Hunnicutt
July 15, 1959 — July 30, 2022
Hunnicutt, James Charles “Charlie”, age 63, resident of Hueytown, Alabama, went to be with his Lord on July 30, 2022. Charlie was preceded in death by his dad, James D. Hunnicutt, mother, Joyce Hunnicutt Langston, sister, Doni Joy Hunnicutt, and granddaughter, Lily Stewart. He was survived by his wife of 37 years, Belinda Headley Hunnicutt. He was blessed with three children, Miranda Stewart (Danny), Skylar Hunnicutt, and Nathan Hunnicutt. Two grandchildren, Macy and Owen Stewart, and his sister, Debra H. Pickens (Steve) and brother, William “Bill” Hunnicutt (Sandra).
Charlie lived a life full of God’s blessings and the love of his family and friends. He was a graduate from Theodore High School in Mobile, AL. He had a passion for motocross and loved racing, teaching his children to ride, and racing with the WFO racing team. Charlie loved playing the guitar, whether it be hymns to the Lord or shredding to rock music with friends. He had an amazing green thumb and loved sharing the fruits of his labor. Everyone he ever met was drawn to his infectious humor and kindness. He never met a soul who didn’t see him as a best friend. He loved his family, and worked with all he had to provide for them. He retired from U.S Steel and then went on to work for Milo’s Tea. He brought joy and friendship to all of the great people who worked beside him. While thankful he is now in his true home with Jesus, Charlie will be missed beyond measure and forever remembered by each one of the people he touched with his life.

A celebration of life will be held at Hueytown Baptist Church on Saturday, August 6th between 11-2 pm, located at 3000 Dwaine Ave, Hueytown, AL 35023. All are welcome.
