He is survived by his sons, James Walter Cooper IV, Benjamin Wayne Cooper; daughters, Sarah Lynell Goodwyn, Racheal Michele Moore; grandchildren, Amelia Moore, Theodore Moore, Sarah Moore, Blake Goodwyn; sister, Karen Carrol and brother, Thomas Cooper.
