Jacqueline "Jackie" Short Parsons

Jacqueline "Jackie" Short Parsons, 61 of Hoover, Alabama passed away, February 7, 2025. She was the salutatorian at Gilmore Bell High School. She was a member of Garywood Assembly of God and Hunter Street Baptist Church. She had difficult struggles for most of her life but she was a very strong woman who never complained and was a 4x cancer survivor. She was full of compassion, loved everyone and always wanted to please everyone. To know Jackie was to love Jackie. She was an avid Alabama fan.
She was preceded in death by her father, Tyler Short, Sr.; brother, Ty short, Jr; grandmother, Dicie Howard; and grandfather, Hezzie Waldon.
She is survived by her husband of 30 years James Parsons; daughters, Anna Laura Parsons Keene (William) and Jamie Faith Parsons; mother, Sandra Short; brother, Tayler Short; and mother-n-law, Margaret N. Parsons.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, February 17, 2025, 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM with a service beginning at 12:00 PM at Garywood Assembly of God Church, 2730 Allison Bonnett Memorial Dr., Hueytown, AL 35023.
