Jackie L. Mcbrayer

Jackie L. McBrayer, 71 of Bessemer, Alabama passed away February 12, 2021. She worked at Pleasant Grove 1st Baptist Daycare for 20+ years. Her love for animals always led to her giving many of them a loving home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Orman Canant; father, Coy W. Wood and mother, Billie Nell Stone; sister, Cheryl Wood. She is survived by her husband, Roger McBrayer; son, David Canant; daughters, Rachel Long (Daniel), Natalie Rash (Allen); grandchildren, Cody Canant, Glenn Canant, Jacob Long, Samuel Long, Logan Rash; great granddaughter, Ella Canant; brother, Coy Michael Wood (Cheryl). She will be entombed in Alabama Naational Cemetery, in Montevallo along with her husband, Friday, April 2, 2021.
