Glenda Coffey

Mrs. Glenda Hutchison Coffey, of Hueytown, AL, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at the age of 87. She served as a loving Pastors wife at churches in Mississippi and Alabama for 67 years. She is preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Gwin Raymond Coffey. She is survived by their children, Greg (Jan) Coffey of Alabaster, Garry (Sherrie) Coffey of Bessemer and Gwendolyn Coffey Handley of Hueytown; 6 grandchildren, Andy (Valorie) Coffey of Chelsea, Stacey (James) Morgan of Bessemer, Ty (Lori Anne) Coffey of Calera, Donette (Jeremy) Worthy of Northport, Kori Anderson of Hueytown and Joe (Anna) Handley of Hueytown; 14 great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Sunday, April 18, 2021 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at North Highlands Baptist Church, Hueytown, AL. Funeral service will be Monday, April 19, 2021 at 10:00 AM at the church with burial in Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo, AL. Rev. Michael Wallace officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the North Highland Baptist Church Senior Adult Ministry.
