George Edmond Womble, 81 of Pleasant Grove, Alabama passed away January 4, 2023. He is preceded in death by his parents Herman P. Womble and Gladys Womble; baby, George Russell(Rusty) Womble. He is survived by his wife of 23 years Myra Jeanette Womble; daughters, Gale Burch(Tab) and Cindy Chafin(Brian); sister, Liz W. Burleson; brother, Don P. Womble(Wendy); grandchildren, Tyler Burch(Hannah), Taylor Burch, Mackenzie Green(Colton) and Brody Chafin. Visitation will be Monday, January 9, 2023, 10:30AM-11:30AM with the funeral service beginning at 11:30AM at Patterson-Forest Grove Funeral Home. Burial will Follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Rev. Les Hughes officiating. In lieu of flowers, send donations to 1st Baptist Church Pleasant Grove.
