George R. Smith, 71, of McCalla passed away on 10-19-2017.
He is survived by his wife, Theresa, his son, Nakia (Kayla) and his perfect daughter, Brandy. His grandchildren Austin Smith, Hunter Smith and Hudson Smith.
He is preceded in death by his father, Marvin Smith, his mother, Lois Patterson, his sister Linda and 2 infant sisters.
He was a wonderful and loving husband, father, grandfather and friend.
He was a member of Reno Baptist Church. He loved spending time with his family and his dogs, Roscoe and Rusty. He was an avid fisherman and loved fishing with his wife(even though she was better than him) and his friends. He also enjoyed working at his car lot. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 24 at Reno Baptist Church, at 1:00 PM. A time of visitation and fellowship will begin at 12:00. Burial will follow at Shamblin Cemetery.
