Faye Smith Andrews
January 28, 1945 — January 8, 2025
Eleanor Faye Andrews, age 79, of Calera Alabama, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, January 9, 2025. Faye lived life to the fullest. She loved the beach and sharing many memories of her traveling days. Faye and her sister Billie, were two peas in a pod. They lived together and enjoyed their time sharing memories, listening to gospel and country music, cross stitching and crocheting, while watching her favorite show the “Shark Tank”.
She is preceded in death by her husband Jimmy Andrews, son Tony Cuevas, parents Eugene and Maggie Smith, brothers Herman Smith, Buddy Smith, sisters Evelyn Vick, Betty Parrott and Edith Shaw.
Faye leaves behind her children, Jeff Preston (Kay), James Cuevas (Susan), Terri Owens (Randy), and Wanda Sanguyo (Dennis), her sister Billie Beersdorf, seven grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Faye will be held Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at 10:30 am for immediate family, 11:00 am visitation for friends and family and the Celebration of Life Service at 12 pm at Patterson-Forest Grove Funeral Home, 1498 5th Avenue, Pleasant Grove, Al 35127. Rev. John Mitchell officiating.
