Elizabeth Cotney May

Elizabeth passed away on January 13, 2021. She was a former resident of Pleasant Grove for 44 years and a member of First Baptist Church where she was involved with many parts of the music program and taught Bible study classes. Mrs. May was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Fannie Cotney and her husband of 61 years, Edgar D. May. She is survived by her children, Martha (Barry) Patrick, Ellen (Steve) Dailey, David (Nicole) May; grandchildren, Brandon (Kate) Patrick, Alison (Josh) Ramsey, Chris (Jana) Rockett, Justin (Stefanie) Dailey, Whitney (Julie) Dailey, Kelsey (Carey) Davis, Will May, Connor May and Emma Katherine May; six great grandchildren; a sister, Frances (Larry) Hightower; and many other relatives and friends. Private Graveside service will be held on Friday in Patterson Forest Grove Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be: Brandon, Chris, Josh, Carey, Will and Connor. Pastor Justin Dailey (grandson) officiating. Social distancing and masks are required. Service details are being arranged by Patterson Forest Grove, Hueytown, Alabama.
