Edward Eugene Honeycutt, 64, of Hueytown, Alabama passed away June 1, 2023. He loved Jesus first and foremost, but he also loved his church family at Faith Missionary Baptist Church on Eastern Valley Road, his family and he loved his grandchildren big! He is preceded in death by his wife, Vickie Honeycutt; father, Charles Edward Honeycutt; step-father, Fred McRee and sister, Myra Brakefield. He is survived by his son, Brandon E. Honeycutt (Melissa); daughter, Heather L. Honeycutt; grandchildren, Logan, Sabrina, Hannah and Brandon Carter; mother, Alvertis Wideman (J.D.); sisters, Eunie Posey, Lisa Carmichael (David), Joanie Taylor (David); brothers, Robert McRee, Chris McRee, Doug Honeycutt (Celeste); sister-in-law, Karen Hyde and brother-in-law, Keith Brakefield. Visitation will be Sunday, June 4, 2023 from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Patterson-Forest Grove Funeral Home. The funeral service will be on Monday, June 5, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Patterson-Forest Grove Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery Forest Grove Memorial Gardens. Rev.
