Doris Freeman Jones

Doris Freeman Jones, of Pleasant Grove, passed away August 24, 2021 at the age of 85. She was a longtime member of Cottage Hills Baptist Church. She loved reading, watching movies, word puzzle books and gardening. She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Mary Freeman; her husband of 61 years, Charles William Jones; and a brother, David W. Freeman. She is survived by her daughter, Donna Jones Raffield (Robert D.); grandchildren, Kimberly Raffield Murdoch (Bruce), Alexandra Raffield Jarrell (Nick) and Virginia Joanne Raffield (Tyler Dobbs); great grandchildren, London June Raffield and Mary Elizabeth Raffield Jenkins; sisters, Mary Jo Freeman Cicero (Neil) and Dale Frankel; furry friend, Angus; and many other relatives and friends. Graveside service will be held Friday, August 27, 2021 at 10:30 AM in Oakland Cemetery (1140 Warrior Rd 35218). Rev. David Nuckels officiating.
